About Us

By Zoya is a New York-based clothing brand founded by designer and artist Zoya Garg. It started with hand-drawn illustrations on t shirts and grew into a full clothing collection, built around the people, places, and stories that shape everyday life. 

Every garment is handmade in small batches in Portugal, where we also source all of our materials within 35 kilometers of production. Keeping everything in one place means fewer materials shipped in from elsewhere, which cuts down on the transportation emissions typical of most supply chains — and it keeps us close and hands-on with the people who make our clothes. We design pieces you'll wear again and again, not just once. Buy less, love more. Your favorite clothes should gather memories, not dust.

Community is at the heart of By Zoya. Our pieces are named after friends, our campaigns feature people that inspire us, and the clothes are just a piece of the puzzle.
